Our Teachers
 Miss CuthbertsonI am pleased to have joined the North Leigh teaching team this year. I have been teaching for a number of years in various settings both small and large, from inner city Birmingham to local village schools. I have experience teaching both KS1 and KS2 and feel very passionately about the children in my care - nothing beats those 'light bulb' moments in the classroom. I make my classroom a positive place to be where learning goals can be achieved! On my days off I enjoy keeping fit by running. I love spending time with my family and my two boys certainly keep me on my toes.  Mrs MasonI feel very lucky to have spent over 30 years teaching children from Reception to Year 6, and I am so excited to be part of Owl Class this year. One of the things I love most about teaching is getting to know each child and their family, helping them grow in confidence and develop the skills they need for the next stage of life. My greatest passion is teaching PSHE and supporting children’s mental and emotional well-being. Outside of school, I love spending time with my grown-up children, trying not to be too competitive over a game of Bananagrams, and getting cosy with a good book. I also enjoy trying my hand at the latest Great British Bake Off technical challenge – with mixed results! Owl Class meet the teacher 2025 |
