As part of our learning about the Olympics during Olympic Week, Holly Class focussed on Greece, where the Olympics began! The children tasted some hummus, learned how to say 'hello' in Greek - 'Yassou' We have also been making Olympic torches, medals and flags. Holly Class showed great problem-solving skills when making buildings with paper cups using the 'post and lintel' model of construction similar to that of the famous Parthenon building! Great work Holly Class!
