Hazel Class discussed what we use the internet for at home and we voted for what we liked to use the internet for the most, playing online games was the clear winner!
<< Click to return to the previous page... We read 'Hanni and the magic window' a story about a little girl who saw something on the internet that upset her, as is wasn't right for her. We focussed our discussions about how Hanni felt much better after she shared with a grown up what she had seen. To encourage the children to talk about using the internet we played a board game. This included reading out different scenarios and talked about ways to solve common problems. Hazel Class decided that the most important rule of keeping safe on the internet was to tell a grown up if anything worries you.
