A large group of Year 5s have embarked on a very exciting after school club with Margaret and Mrs Mason exploring what it means to be a Young Leader in our world today.
Week 4: This week we started discussing the big question "Is changing the world easy?" This produced some lively discussion with some well thought through reasoning. Then we turned our thoughts to the local community and what makes a community an even better place. Using an interactive map based on the life of fictional Archie Bishop, we explored areas of risk in his local community. Then we prioritised our concerns and put a simple action plan together to address the issues we'd identified. Finally, we thought about other measures we would want to see put in place to make it a safer community for all to enjoy.
