The Year of the Rabbit – As part of our RE unit on 'Celebrations' Holly Class enjoyed learning all about the Chinese New Year. The children learnt the story of 'The Great Race' and discovered why each year is named after an animal. They also made masks, puppets, lanterns and their very own dragon for our dragon dance around the school. The children enjoyed wishing everyone in school and pre-school a Happy New Year in Chinese: 'Kung Hei Fat Chow!'
