Environment

Advent Week 2 - Accepted
In Collective Worship this week we have continued thinking about Advent with an overall theme of 'Community at Christmas'.
This week we are focussing on the shepherds, the first to receive the good news of Jesus birth even though they were not well respected in society.
This is a wonderful example of God's love and acceptance of everyone, especially people that others consider to be of less value or less important.

Instead of your usual wrapping paper and tape, find some that can definitely be recycled.
Or use packaging that can be used again, like gift bags.

Advent Week 1 - Joy
In Collective Worship this week we have started thinking about Advent with an overall theme of 'Community at Christmas'. During the week we have encountered the joy of the angels, delivering their good news. We have also considered what communities we belong to, how they bring us joy and how we contribute to the joy of the community. Ms Seccull has challenged the children to respond to this in a creative, social or environmentally responsible way. Here are three ideas for how they might respond. Take a photo of your activity and share it with the school by uploading it here.
