Remembrance service
North Leigh community remembered all of those who have given their lives for the freedoms with which we live ours today. Children from North Leigh Primary School took part in a service led by Reverend Margaret Dixon down at St Mary's church. Children who belong to beavers, Cubs and Scouts groups came together to remember the sacrifices made in conflicts around the world. Mr McPherson, the Headteacher, laid a wreath of poppies by the war memorial down at the church, along with many other groups from the community.
The school will hold its own Remembrance service on Monday 11th November.
