We explored the meaning of kindness and why showing kindness to others is important. We also considered when it is easier to be kind and when it is more tricky and gave advice to our class puppets through a Conscience Alley activity. We listened to stories Jesus told about kindness and turned shoe boxes into diaramas, capturing the stories creatively through role play, discussion and art. Most children decided it would be very difficult to be kind all the time even though they would like to be.
