I recommend this book to y6 and over it is an incredibly good book that I think a lot of people would enjoy.

This book is about a boy who's only chance of life is living with a pigs heart in side him if he takes it there is a huge risk but if he doesn't then he almost certainly will die. Will he risk it or not and if he does what will be the outcome?

I recommend this book to y6 and over because it can get a bit complicated at sometimes, but it is an amazing book.

This content mainly is not real but the moral is it shows how all people deserve kindness and that we all should be and help other to be kind and grateful.

i wood recommend this to year 4 and over because i'm not sure about year 3 and under.

Summary/ content

it is harry potter's fifth year at hogwarts school of witchcraft and wizardry and every seven years there is this thing called the triwizard tournament. for the triwizard tournament there are three schools hogwarts bodatens and durmstrang one champine is chosen from each school but harry gets chosen as a second champeon for hogwarts (you have to de 17 or over to enter the tournament). there are three tasks the first task is to get past a dragon and get the golden egg behind it. the second task was to get a person from the bottom of a lake. the third and last one was to try and get to the center of a mace and get the trophy and that ment you won the tournament. harry and the other howorts champion cedric diggory agreed to grad the trothe at the same time then it teleported them to a grave yared cedric was killed and voldemort was resurrected by his servant then later harry except with cedric's body then everyone was sad that cedric died.

Barney is a little boy, he is what you would usually expect from a boy his age. However there is something that happened to him. His village was bombed, destroyed. All his belongings and his house was now just in a pile all shredded up. Him and his mother had no option but move away.
On the train they met a man. He was unknown to both of them but when something unexpected happened he helped comfort them by telling stories, fascinating stories. But when the lights turned on, he was no longer there...

Recommendation:
I would recommend this book to anyone that is looking into new genres of reading, or anyone that is into fiction stories. The book is amazing overall, and I hope you like it too if you have read/will read it.

Summary/ content

3 Sisters and their Granny, (nickname Bunny) Live their lives in a shop. Their daily routine consisted of working hard and getting paid barely anything, so their life was somewhat miserable. The family holds a dark secret that is almost never spoken about nor mentioned. The secret ended up being a curse that needed to be broken. The three sisters, Betty, Fliss and Charlie go on a mission to break the curse with help from Colton, an innocent prisoner they let free, Fingerty, a known visitor at their shop, and Sorsha Spellthorn, the girl that created the curse. The book contains exciting adventure aswell as mystifying sorcery.

The prince of England was a very sickly child that laid in bed all day. However, when he takes an enormous risk stepping out his room for the very first time he discovers there's more to this palace and maybe the whole country then he was lead to believe. Starting with the lord protector.

This book is about a boy with heart issues. He didn't have long left. There's nothing he could do because there wasn't any heart donors. That's where Doctor Bryce comes in with a plan. However, it had never been done before...

No one really as it is a pretty bad and boring book due to the descriptive writing and how slow it is.

Lampie is about a girl who is the lighthouse keeper's daughter and is dragged into a special adventure. The book is about the girl finding out a secret that she must keep for the good of the creature and herself.

Recommendation:
I would recommend this to anyone who likes magic adventure books like Harry Potter. I think this book would be good for Year 5 and 6 as its not too difficult.

Summary/ content

Three people are from different places, try to save the world from witches. They try to get ingredients for a magic spell to get rid of witches. There are two other books so to understand you need to read them. There are lots of magical creatures most of them are good.

I would recommend this book to people who like fiction and adventure stories.

Summary/ content

This is book number three in the Harry Potter series. Harry and his friends, Hermione and Ron are in yeah three at Hogwarts school. They find out that there is a mass murderer on the loose who escaped from a highly secure prison named Azkaban.
The murderer is called Sirius Black. Sirius is out to get Harry in this book.

Recommendation:
Probably to year 5 on to year 6 as it is mysterious and contains murderous scenes.

Summary/ content

Seth Seppi is a kitchen boy who lives and works in an old hostile hotel in the middle of miles upon miles of forest. The remote lodging rarely gets customers and whenever it does it is few at a time. Seth is treated poorly by his “associates” the Bunn family and continually is getting bullied by the repulsing Tiffany, a smirky girl around his age. Seth is master chef and wants to continue his dads legacy, a famous cook who people traveled far to taste his elegant dishes. But after his abrupt disappearance the hotel fell quite and Seth became alone, left only with his cat and the rundown attic as his abode. However all changed when an array of magical figures attended the hotel for dinner. But all the good stopped there as that night a murder commenced and the blame snaked it's way to Seth, an innocent. Can he clear his name using the evidence he seeks. Can he discover the real culprit, especially when magi's afoot.

I would recommend this book for year 6's because it can be complicated at times, but it is an amazing book and I really enjoyed it.

This book is based on the life of a boy called Cameron, who when he was only a child caught a heart virus and he was slowly getting the life drained out of him. Everything changed a man called doctor Bryce knocked on Cameron's door and explained that he could possibly save his life but the catch is that it would be a pigs heart because Cameron has tried to have a heart transplant before but they never had a spare heart. Will he decide to go ahead with the operation before its too late? And will the operation work?

Someone over the age of nine and with a wide imagination or someone who wants to find out about being a child in the war.

Carrie and her younger brother Nick, live in the city when World War 2 breaks out. They are evacuated to a small Welsh town, and taken in by 2 complete strangers; Mr Evans and Auntie Lou (as she becomes known). Mr Evans is very religious and doesn't tolerate bad behaviour, Auntie Lou is kind, quiet and she is dominated by her older brother Mr Evans. Carrie and Nick soon make friends and settle in to a very different life than they're used to. They become very close to Hepzibah who some people believe is a witch. But is she?

I would recommend this book to late year 4 and above because it can be mildly scary.

Summary/ content

Lampie is a girl lives who lives with her father in a lighthouse but on one stormy night the light goes out, leaving ships without their senses and leaving one to crash. Her father and her must deal with the consequences, of their mistakes. Lampie is then sent to work at the Black house where rumours of a mysterious monster kept in a tower waiting to be released.

the rainbow magic series are this books about this two girls called rachel and kirsty. they go on adventures with different tips of fareas. what i mean by different fares there are 7 fares to one type of fares like there are weder, sports, rainbow fares and lots of different types. [last time i red one of this books was wen i was 5 or 6}.

I recommend this book to y6 and over it is a great book for people who like books that are emotional it will engage your attention and leaves you on a few cliff-hangers along the way.

Connor has had the same nightmare ever since his mother was first ill. He thinks she will get better but then is blind to the fact they are running out of options. Until one night, Connor had a visitor who could potentially save his mother but what Connor doesn't know is that the visitor is here to save him.

I would recommend this book to year 5 and 6 because it is a bit confusing at times but in the end it is a good book.

Summary/ content

A Sprinkle of Sorcery is based on three girls, Betty, Fliss and Charlie, who own a pub called the Poachers Pocket.
One night a girl called Willow came into the Poachers Pocket and she needed their help. Later two men came banging on their door and took Charlie with them. Can Betty and Fliss team up with Willow to help find Charlie before its too late.

This book is Ideal for readers who want an emotional roller coaster and a satisfying ending and who want to be encouraged to be courageous and determined. Recommended for Year 5 and up because you have to be aware of problems happening all around the world.

Summary/ content

This story is about a group of foster children, who woke up to a newly-born star that broke almost every law of physics. The main protagonist (Aniyah) is convinced that this is her mother trying to find her. Aniyah must also break every law she knows if her mother is to succeed.

Recommendation:
I would recommend this to people who are interested in adventure and friendship, however it does contain a twist of murder and mystery. It's a quite complicated setup so probably suitable for late year 5.

Summary/ content

There was a boy, a special boy. His name was Nobody. Adopted by the dead and brought into to the graveyard as far back as he could remember . Nobody (or "Bod" for short) was raised by two loving ghosts, the Owenses, and protected by his guardian, Silas. He was special because he could see the deceased, something no other living person could do.
Over the years he had many teachers, alive and dead lecturing him on the dangerous world beyond the graveyard's gates, for threats lurk in the shadows. Menaces awaited Bod, hunting him down like predator and prey.
Adventures are beginning, evil is dawning, betrayal is shared. Can Bod put an end to these schemes? Will he ever learn where he is truly from?

He runs this business called failure inc [he is a kid and his office is in his mums closet] and he had to overcome these obstacles 1. his mum 2. his school 3. his idiot best friend 4. his polar bear business partner called Total. and if you read this I hope you enjoy it.

I would recommend this book to year 4s and up with a great imagination, it will inspire you to carry on reading!

Kid Normal is a story based on the lives of 5 heroes going out of their way to protect their town. Murph Cooper is the main character surrounded by amazing friends and family helping him to stop Nicholas Knox from taking over the world and setting all of the Rogues free.

The story is about thes 2 girls who find a puppy and tack it home with them and call it monty. At first monty is a bit shiy but wen he is around the 2 girls and there familys he is happy to be arouned. At one pont in the book monty runs away but he comes home and stayes with the girls.

Recommendation:
I loved the hunger games series would recommend these books to anyone apart from very young readers as it is a bit gruesome. I would also definitely recommend reading the books before you watch the films.

Every year one boy and one girl from each district are chosen to compete in The Hunger Games. The games are an annual event held by the Capitol where children ages 12 to 18 are randomly selected to fight to the death in a lethal arena. It is a punishment and a reminder that the uprising against the Capitol must never repeat itself. When Katniss Everdeen, a sixteen year old girl from district 12, volunteers to take her sister

I recommend this book to year six and I hope they enjoy it as I did.

This is the story of Katniss Everdeen and Peter Mellark who are on another adventure against their will. Once again in the arena no one can think of the unimaginable consequences without trembling. However, it is yet to be found out if they can make it through another disaster. The best part of this book is when Katnuss found out she had to go back to the arena.

Fluent readers in Year 4 and above

Summary/ content

A fantastic story about friendship, determination and standing up for your friends whatever their circumstances. It also shows how children can make a difference and are much more accepting of everyone than adults often are. A great read.
