I set up a tomato plant stall at the end of my road with my sister and raised money For the Foodbank.

yes it was fun I enjoyed using art to share an important message (it was also the first time I used pastels!)

Collected food to give to my neighbour to take to the local food bank.

I fed and walked my neighbours dog whilst they were away.

She was really happy and gave me a bar of chocolate as a way of saying thank you.

What challenge did you do?

Baked chocolate brownies to deliver to my elderly neighbours who are unable to leave the house.

Did you enjoy it?

I really enjoyed making the brownies - even if they are not the most healthiest!

What leadership skills did you use?

Kindness: offering to do something that helps a neighbour
Organised: planning a recipe and organising the ingredients in order to make them successfully.

And what comments did your parent/ neighbour/ community make?

My neighbours were very grateful for the brownies - one of my neighbours Brian ate his straight away! My other neighbour said thank you as chocolate is his favourite!

What challenge did you do?

Offer to read with a relative: Despite not being able to see my Grandad in person, I use Face Time to read a story to him. I also read a story to him that I wrote myself.

Did you enjoy it?

It was really good fun - we had a giggle together and it was lovely catching up with him.

And what comments did your parent/ neighbour/ community make?

Grandad and his partner Jenny said they really enjoyed listening to my story - it made their day. They enjoyed seeing Louis and me over Face Time as they haven't seen anyone for the past few weeks.

What challenge did you do?

I Wrote a poem about Alaska where my Great Granny lives. Then I sent her the poem in an Email.
My great granny is 93, I hoped this would cheer her up.

What challenge did you do?

I looked after a friends pet! It was a cat, and his name is Kiev. I had to feed, groom, pet and play with him!

Did you enjoy it?

I enjoyed it, but what I didn't enjoy was feeding him because the food was like jelly and it stunk!

What leadership skills did you use?

Kind-helping a neighbor look after their cat because they were on holiday!
Organized-having the right things to look after a cat means a very happy animal!

And what comments did your parent/ neighbour/ community make?

Phoebe took her responsibility very seriously and it meant our friends were able to enjoy their holiday without the worry of how their cat was coping.

What challenge did you do?

I am helping my mum to learn sign language for her work. On the weekend I tested her on the alphabet.
Whenever I read a book to her I ask her to sign one of words to me to help her practice.

Did you enjoy it?

Yes, lots.

And what comments did your parent/ neighbour/ community make?

Mum thanked me because it really helps to learn she said

What challenge did you do?

I wrote a letter to an elderly resident in a local care home, they cannot have visitors at the moment so I wanted to make them smile.

Did you enjoy it?

Yes. I love colouring so I made them a picture and I wrote a letter. I am going to be a regular penpal now.

What leadership skills did you use?

Kindness- showing a loving/caring attitude towards someone else.
Taking Initiative- Doing a task without being asked.
(I asked my mum if I could write to someone in a care home as they might be lonely with no visitors at the moment)

And what comments did your parent/ neighbour/ community make?

She sent me a picture (of her receiving my letter/picture) and she also wrote me a letter back saying it was very nice to hear from me.
We are going to be regular penpals now and I am in the middle of writing my next letter.

What challenge did you do?

Offer to walk a neighbour's dog or look after a pet:
We don't have any pets so I offered to walk a neighbour's dog for them.

Did you enjoy it?

It was great fun! We went for a long walk and passed an open field where we threw the ball for him to chase and bring back. We did this loads of tines as 'Oscar' wanted to keep going and going.

What leadership skills did you use?

Kindness: caring for others and being helpful.
Taking Initiative: doing a task without being asked or reminded (I volunteered as I love dogs but don't have one).

And what comments did your parent/ neighbour/ community make?

Neighbour: Thank you so much for walking Oscar. He had a wonderful time and is super tired now!
