Visit to the Allotments<< Click to return to the previous page... As part of our learning about Harvest fruits and vegetables, Holly Class visited the allotments today. Mrs Pearce kindly showed us around and we saw lots of fruits and vegetables. When we returned to school we remembered we had seen: spinach, pears, pumpkins, beans, onions, tomatoes, blackberries, beetroot, butternut squash, rhubarb and apples! Mrs Hill read us 'Oliver's Vegetables' and 'Oliver's Fruit Salad' by Vivian French and we explored the globe to find out where some fruits are grown all around the world. Thank you Mrs Pearce for a lovely trip out!                   |
